As much as I love Christmas time, and the weeks leading up to the big day, I’m not the biggest fan of the actual day itself. I live at home with just my parents and we have a pretty chilled out morning, and then my sister and her family come over later on for dinner. We haven’t got a large family so I don’t have many people to buy for (luckily!) so present opening time goes pretty quickly, and then the best part of the day can start.. lunch time!
I thought I’d so a quick (belated) blog post showing what I received for Christmas from my lovely family. I’ve seen lots of these types of blog posts, and I’m the nosey type, so I enjoy reading them, and wow some people are super lucky! So many iPads! Here’s the lovely bits and pieces I got this year:
Here’s all my pressies that I opened on the day, including very nice recipe book Stacie Bakes, some money, a Primark voucher, sweeties, a Body Shop gift set, and my Cath Kidston bag! Not extravagant or a mass of gifts, but very much appreciated none the less.
This lovely bag was the only present I asked for from my parents, and then I bought the purse myself from the sale after Christmas. I have this bag in two other patterns but this one is my favourite! It will go nicely with my red wintery coat too.
These lovely (I use that word too much!) gifts I received from Liam, who I’ve not mentioned on here in a while. But he surprised me some lovely goodies! Including some gorgeous undies from Boux Avenue (I love how they gift wrap everything so nicely!), some pretty heart print ribbon, a wooden cupcake handpainted Gisela Graham heart, an eyeshadow palette (amazing Naked dupe for a fraction of the price!), a metal stag decoration, and the sweetest Accessorize necklace. Didn’t he do well? I’ll be doing a review of the eyeshadow palette soon, it looks fab though, and I don’t understand how people can spend £37 on the Urban Decay ones.
And finally, I said that me and Terri shouldn’t do pressies, but she gave me this cute little gingerbread man house! It’s the sweetest little tin, and I’m always a fan of man shaped treats.
