Shattered Rose Prom Dress ♥

The weather today was so lovely, so I just had to get outside to take some photos of my pretty new dress. It was a little bit windy though.. so I’m looking a little windswept! Not long now until spring settles in for good though, I can’t wait until the warmer weather arrives and the days are lighter for longer. I hate driving to and from work in the dark! Anyway.. to celebrate the start of spring I wanted to show you this lovely dress from Whistle and Wolf.

I was sent this a few weeks back from their new range, it’s called the shattered rose print prom dress. It would be perfect for a summer time wedding or special occasion. The floral print is in pretty pastel colours ranging from pinks, to creams, and greens. The dress shape is very flattering, with a fully lined bodice and skirt with a fitted waistband. Although I think the waistband isn’t quite high enough on me, as it sits a little low.  It would look great with a pop of colour from a hot pink lipstick or clutch bag. I teamed the dress with nude platform heels in these photos, and a coral coloured sheer cardigan.
