Four Seasons of Cath Kidston Day Bags ♥

Since discovering the Cath Kidston day bags I’ve started my own little collection. It started off with the berry red dot pattern, which I’ve used tonnes and it still looks like new! Liam then bought me the strawberry print one in the summer last year, which was the perfect adorable print for the lovely weather. My parents then bought me the grey rose one for Christmas, which I’ve been using most recently as it goes nicely with my big red coat.
And then finally, a few weeks ago I decided to bid on the white floral one, as I thought it would be great for spring time. I was a little disappointed when I received it as it was not in the ‘as new’ condition it was listed as (I remember now why I don’t use eBay anymore!). It has a few marks and stains on the oilcloth which are impossible to remove. The seller did give me a 50% refund, and I also found £3.50 in the pocket! So I got it for a good price, so I may aswell get some use out of it!
The Cath Kidston day bag is perfect for me, as it’s the exact size I need. It has one zip up inside pocket which holds my lipsticks, compact mirror, and earphones. And then it has a little pocket on each side, which are very useful for keeping tissue packets and ticket holders etc in. The main inside of the bag is very spacious and it holds everything I need including my chunky purse. I prefer to hang my handbags off of my arm on my elbow, and this bag has the perfect length handles for this. Also because they’re made from oilcloth they stay in excellent condition, and you can wipe them clean. The fabric is really thick so can take a bit of a beating, and the inside is lined in beautiful patterned thick canvas.
Cath Kidston day bags are usually around £50, although I often see them in the sale for around £35. This is a lot pricier than I would usually spend on a handbag, but because they are so long lasting and durable, I will happily spend it. I switch and change my bags depending on the season and my mood, so here’s the four patterned day bags I own…
Spring: Pinny Flowers
Summer: Wild Strawberry
Autumn: Berry Spot
Winter: Garden Rose
