Swimwear to Flatter Your Figure ♥

So I’ve finally booked a holiday (woo hoo!) and I’m super excited! Liams ‘summer leave’ from the Army has actually turned out to be at the start of April so we’ve had to book something a little bit last minute, but that means we got an amazing deal and I cannot wait! We’re off to Tenerife’s south coast to the Golf Del Sur resort, and although we have never played golf in our lives, the resort is gorgeous and we’ve hired a car to visit the more lively towns. 

After booking the holiday fear immediately set in.. I’ve only got 3 weeks to get a beach body! Which I know isn’t going to happen.. I’ve never been heavier in my life and I doubt I’ll be able to lose a single pound in time. So the next best thing is finding something to wear on the beach that doesn’t get me mistaken for a whale and harpooned on the sea shore (exaggerating a little possibly).

I’ve spent hours (literally hours!) browsing the internet trying to find nice and good value swimwear, so here are my top picks, split into swimsuits, swimskirts, and bikinis. I find some of the best features for swimwear are skirted bottoms (covers up bulgey thighs), longline bikini tops (hides back fat), and high waisted bottoms (holds belly in).

So far I’ve invested in the Blue and White Striped High Waist Bikini for only £6 off eBay from a Chinese seller, and also this Longline Pink and Black Polka Dot Bikini, also £6. I’m not sure if they’ll arrive in time for my holiday as I only just discovered them. Also I wasn’t sure about sizing, so I got one in size L and one in XL as Chinese sizes are usually tiny. I also bought today this amazing tropical print longline, high waist bikini from Primark for £11, and there’s lots of (tiny) PR photos (here) showing whats soon to come to Primarks new summer range!
