Summer Primark Haul March 2014

Firstly, sorry that these photos are absolutely terrible! The weather was really gloomy when I tried taking them, and I’ve not had the time to try the photos again, but hopefully they’re not too bad. Here’s what I’ve picked up from Primark lately. They have lots of lovely new things in their Spring/Summer ranges and a few bits left in the sale too.

So after my bikini blog post
a few days ago after hunting for a flattering fitting bikini I picked
up this beauty for only £11. It’s got high waisted pants and a ruffled
top, which works wonders at hiding fleshy bulges. I also quite like the
bright tropical print, which probably isn’t something I’d usually go
for. Looking forward to holiday now yayyy!

Check
out these beauties! The most perfect beautiful underwear set. I could
have designed this myself as my dream undies! A bargain at only £10, I
adore my new blue floral print balconette bra and brief set. It has
lovely lacey detail, and little pearls, and is made from a nice silky
satin. I love that the pants are big too.. I hate it when a nice bra set
has stringy knickers!

I
went a little bit wild at the £1 knickers stand! But honestly I love
these £1 panties, they come in so many patterns and designs and they’re
so cute! I bought a few more of these that I’ve not photographed, they
had some other pretty ones but only smaller sizes in stock. SO MANY
PANTIES.

I bought the cream version of this dress a few weeks ago in my last Primark haul, and I love it loads so picked it up in navy too! I was thinking of returning it but decided to keep it after falling in love with it. It’s a lovely shape and style for work, and I got a size up so it’s quite loose fitting on me, but the length is decent enough for office wear (I think). It’s £13 with a black Peter Pan collar, textured thick fabric, and a flattering waist.

I’ve seen quite a few bloggers wearing this red daisy tea dress, and I’m not surprised it’s popular because I love it too! It’s a lovely floaty material and a nice summery length. It was only £13, my only gripe is that I had to go a size up, and even then the arm holes are still a bit tight! It’s a great dress though, I’ve worn it both to work and at weekends, and It’s very comfortable and great value. I hope they introduce new prints soon!

I bought this bleached denim shirt in the sale for only £6, and I think it’s perfect for throwing on over summer dresses and wearing with white plimsolls for a casual look. It’s thinner than wearing a knitted cardigan so it great for the warmer weather, but the long sleeves still keep me snug when it’s a bit chilly!

Gosh these photos really are terrible.. I’m sorry! But I bought this little knitted shrug cardigan for only £6 and it is exactly what I’ve been looking for! So many of my nice dresses are sleeveless or have short sleeves, and I just don’t feel confident enough in them anymore. So my solution to this was to buy a little shrug cardigan to wear over my arms! I just bought it in black but I might have to get a few more colours..
More excellent quality photos… these two pencil skirts were reduced to only £3 each! The textured black pencil skirt has a faux leather waistband. It’s nice to wear to work with a pretty blouse, but I’ve not got round to wearing it just yet! And I also really like the grey floral skirt, which has a nice black flowery pattern all over it.
I bought this light blue denim dress for £12 recently but it’s a bit too short for me I think. I thought it would be nice to wear in summer and it’s a nice style but the fit/length is all a bit wrong on me. I wish it was longer.. boo hoo!

I couldn’t resist these sweet face cloth flannels, a set of 2 was only £1.50. They will match my Laura Ashley towels perfectly. So pretty!

I also picked up this little wirey headband for £1.50. I love the pretty floral pattern, and I quite like wearing these in the summer or when I’m lounging around at home. I wore one to keep my hair looking relatively tame at Leeds festival last summer.

The Primark beauty range is surprisingly good, and they do one of my favourite beauty products.. the felt tip eyeliner pen. This is the best liquid eyeliner pen I’ve ever used (and I’ve tested out loads!) and it’s only £1.50! It’s long lasting, dark, and the nib is the perfect thickness for me. It doesn’t smudge or run easily and I find it stays put all day long. It’s really easy to apply too! I also thought I’d try the dip in liquid eyeliner, which was only £1, but I wasn’t such a fan of this, as the nib is so so thin!
