In case you’re a new blog reader and you’re not really sure what these ‘comp win’ posts are on about, basically I enter competitions online as a little hobby. I’ve been going for exactly 4 years now and I’ve kept a log of everything I’ve ever won in the form of a very detailed spreadsheet! This spreadsheet shows that I’ve won over £15,000 worth of goodies over the years, so it’s a hobby I plan on keeping up for years to come!
It started off when I was a student and was bored during one of the many days off I had. I spent one day entering loads of stuff, without thinking much of it. Then a few weeks later I received an email telling me I’d won a smartphone! It was when smartphones were first released so I was so excited! Because my first ever win was such a biggy I kept up my comping whenever I could (even when I worked at Disney Florida for a season!). It can be hard to keep up the hobby recently with so much going on and working full time, but I try my best to enter what I can. It’s also a bit harder because so many people now do it, and for some it’s basically a career and they don’t work. Personally I don’t enter comps to sell the prizes on, as it’s a waste of my time to enter for things I don’t really want, so I tend to stick to things I’d actually like!
I’ve won some super amazing things over the years, including 2 smart phones, an iPad, 2 weekend breaks, and a nice lot of giftcards and vouchers. Strangely enough I’ve never won cash! I keep an overall log of all of my prizes here, where you can see photos of everything I’ve ever won! I’m sure some people don’t like these posts I do, but I know some people find it extremely motivating/intriguing so I hope you enjoy this one too!

I won this cheeky little box of cornettos chocs from Twitter. They’re not as tasty as they seem, but the office seemed to enjoy them! RRP £15
I won these make up bits from the Lola cosmetics Facebook page. Unfortunately I didn’t get to chose the colours so they don’t suit me very well, but my Mum likes the lipstick and liner. RRP £30
I love this little pamper kit that I won from The Argan Company Twitter page. It included a bottle of their argan oil, candles, cotton buds, and lots more! I’ve been using the oil on my hair after washing it and towel drying and it seems to be doing my dry ends some good! RRP £20
This iPad case is so lovely, I won it from the Covert Cases Twitter page, and it’s very luxurious! RRP £34
I also won this little package from Rose & Pose Twitter, which included a nice orange scarf printed with elephants (Mums fav animal!) and lots of nail stickers.
I also won this nutrition pack om Twitter which includes a funky pink drinks bottle.
I won this London Grammar album from Twitter too, which I’ve been enjoying on my drive to work. RRP £10
I’m not sure where I won this from, despite me trying to find out! This lovely box of choccies arrived through my door a few weeks back but I wasn’t informed. A lovely surprise non the less!
haha thats brilliant – my brother is exactly the same – used to collect the coca cola stickrs, set his alarm for 3am and call up the competition and win so much!

I always enter competitions, I have won a lot recently, in march I won a £250 Dorothy Perkins voucher, a £200 very.co.uk voucher, some Chanel/Tom Ford/Dior makeup and yesterday I won a ghd competition and won the new lavender styler 🙂 x
I used to enter competitions the summer before I went back to full time education and won so many things, the adrenaline of winning and receiving the phone call or email used to keep me going, even for small prizes! I think the top prizes I won were a weekend away in Valencia and £500 of men's clothing which ended up as a christmas present to my dad. I love seeing your competition posts and it makes me wonder why I ever stopped. Although it is extremely time consuming!

I really enjoy reading your competition win posts! I've got a chronic illness so can spend a lot of time stuck at home not able to do much. Your posts inspired me to start entering a few competitions with my time and now I'm slightly addicted! I've won a few nice things, so am going to keep going with it. I like the idea of keeping track of what you've won – I may have to borrow that idea! The Aussie win looks fantastic! Their products are brilliant, so I hope you enjoy trying them out 🙂
