I was offered something to try from Swimwear365; a swim shop with an amazing range of swimwear, from the tiniest bikini sets to stylish swimming costumes, and also holiday clothing and beach essentials. I had quite a struggle trying to pick something, as it’s always a bit of a worry buying swimwear online when you can’t try on what’s best for your figure. And there was so much choice, I almost couldn’t chose between a few, they were all so pretty. But I decided in the end to go with this gorgeous navy blue polka dot swimsuit from designer Lascana.
I was super nervous trying it on when I received it, as I have a small bust and I was worried the cups might be too big and gapey, or I might not get it over my huge rear. But I needn’t have worried, as it was a huge relief that it literally fitted like a glove! Phew. The adjustable straps meant I could tighten it slightly over my shoulders so the chest wasn’t baggy, and the moulded underwired cups made it look like I even had boobs! A miracle, some might say. It also had a nice high back so my back fat didn’t hang out (the most hated part of my whole body) and it held in my tummy nicely.
I wore my new swimsuit to the waterpark, but I’m not quite brave enough to post any actual photos of me in it (sorry). I wore it for the whole day, and it was perfectly comfortable and I didn’t feel too self conscious walking about all day in it. Although maybe my day was a bit too long.. I got sunburnt! It’s a gorgeous blue colour with cute retro polka dots. It’s the perfect swimsuit I was dreaming of!
£49!) from their Dakota range. You can choose which colour you’d like
your lenses tinted, and I picked a tortoiseshell pair with grey tints.
love these frames, and I wore them constantly on holiday! My eyesight
isn’t good at all, so it was great to be able to see perfectly well and
still be protected from the sunshine. The style of the frames are really
similar to Ray Bans, and I like the retro tortoiseshell colouring of
them. I’ll be keeping these in my handbag incase the sun ever decides to rear it’s head in the UK!
