Floral Print Outfit of the Night ♥

I had quite an abnormally sociable weekend last weekend, as I went out on Friday night and again on Sunday night! God bless British Bank Holidays. On Friday night I went up to Stoke to go out with Terri and Alex, and then on Sunday I went out with my lovely friends from work. I’m not really much of a party girl but I do like to go out for a drink and a dance occasionally. Although I don’t tend to get too glammed up and I rarely post outfits of the night, it’s always nice to wear a dress and heels.I’m absolutely terrible at wearing heels though, so these black suede flatforms make a fab alternative to high heels! They were only £10 from Primark and come in nude, coral, and electric blue too! They’re really comfy I find, and they don’t make my feet ache at all, even after a long night. I also wore my new black floral print tunic from Red Label. I just love the bright neon colours on this dress, and I always love a floral pattern! The dress shape is a bit basic, so I wore a skinny black belt with it to emphasise my waist a little bit. I also wore my amazing new kimono from H&M, which was a bargain at only £9.99! I’d been looking for something like this for ages, and it’s perfect to throw on over dresses.

I’ve got a bit of an odd shaped body as my bottom half (thighs especially) is much bigger than my top half. So I do feel a little bit self concious baring my legs in a short dress, but it’s not too bad. And I always feel a little bit better once I’ve applied some fake tan and painted my nails etc. I tend to keep my make up pretty much the same as my day to day look, only with a brighter lipstick. I’m not great with fancy make up so I don’t dare experiment too much! But here’s some photos of my OOTD…

It feels so odd that you were in Stoke, near me, so recently. I never think of bloggers wanting to come here as it's not the loveliest of cities to visit!
