Bedroom Inspiration ♥

I’ve been browsing around for some bedroom inspiration lately, as I’ve been thinking about updating my room a little bit. I do love my bedroom, but I feel it’s becoming a little bit cluttered lately and it can look a bit childish at times! A teenagers pink palace isn’t really the look I was intentionally going for, so I’ve been trying to find ways to minimise my stuff and generally improve the overall look lately.

I’ve not got much to work with in my room as it’s quite small so there isn’t much space. Storage is important in my room as I have so much stuff I need to find space for! I try to keep everything need and tidy in boxes which I then hide in my wardrobe! Pretty boxes are perfect to disguise bits and pieces. I also have some of those big plastic storage boxes which I keep under my bed and fill with shoes.

I’ve got a big metal framed bed at the moment but I’ve been checking out how nice wooden beds can look, especially white ones. All of my bedroom furniture is white wood and I would love to have a matching bed with a big curved headboard. Although I think I probably should tone down the pink girlishness in my bedroom I do love a floral duvet! And lots of cushions! I bought a really cute cupcake cushion in the Dunelm sale last week… it is adorable!

I’ve also been thinking of getting rid of the TV on my chest of drawers. I can’t even remember the last time I turned it on. I honestly think it’s been over a year since I watched my TV! My iPad rules my life. So it would be nice to get rid of the big black clunky TV and make a bit of space. My room is also quite dark as the window is fairly small and doesn’t get a huge amount of light in, so I’ve been looking at stylish lighting solutions from Lampcommerce for my bedroom space. I think a nice little table lamp over my desk would be ideal!
