Laura Ashley Dress – Fashion Targets Breast Cancer ♥

I still have plenty left over on the Laura Ashley giftcard I won last summer, so I recently popped instore to treat myself because I saw they had a sale on. I made a few lovely purchases, including this Pane Check Dress. I absolutely love the 50’s style of the dress and I’m loving checked prints this season. I rarely wear pink so I thought this would make a nice change for summer! The dress is made from a lovely sheer, soft cotton, with a shaped bodice, full flouncy skirt, and a tie belt around the waist. I’m not really sure the dress is very flattering for me as it’s a bit long, but I love it so much!

The great thing about this dress is that it is supporting Fashion Targets Breast Cancer, which helps to raise vital funds for leading charity Breakthrough Breast Cancer. This year’s campaign is all about empowering women to make a difference, Wear Your Support and help stop people getting, and dying from, breast cancer. The charity has teamed up with fashion’s finest high-street brands, Marks & Spencer, River Island, Warehouse, Topshop, Laura Ashley, Debenhams and Superga, who have all launched exclusive pieces which carry a minimum 30% donation to the charity.

They’re trying to spread the message far and wide, so please join in and encourage everybody to #WearYourSupport (Twitter: @FashionTargets / Instagram: @FashionTargetsBreastCancer)

I also made a few other purchases instore as they had up to 30% off everything, so I couldn’t resist this gorgeous blue glass lemonade jug. I’ve ben using it to keep fresh flowers in and I absolutely love it!

Laura Ashley have some amazing swimwear in at the moment, and when I saw this beautiful floral printed swimsuit I had to get it. It fits really beautifully, and the ruching on the bodice hides any bumpy belly bits. I love the cute red bow on it too!

And finally, I decided to buy myself a new quilted jacket and I thought this one was very reasonable at only £45 in the sale. It’s no longer available by the looks of it, but it’s a nice navy blue colour with a zip up front and little pockets.
