Dunelm Summer Haul ♥

Dunelm Mill… the land of boring household items and a million cushions? Well think again! I’ve always been a massive Dunelm fan, and I often find myself browsing the New In section on their website or spending my lunch break checking out their sales. They offer practically everything you need for your home, and the items are all very in season and on trend. It’s a great place to visit when you need to kit out your university room or your first home.

After posting and tweeting about my last Dunelm haul back in May, I was kindly sent a few new goodies to try out! Their new summer range includes a gorgeous range of shabby chic and floral items, which of course I chose. I literally can’t wait to get my own place to prettify, because my bedroom is currently overflowing with nice house things!

A lamp shade, you may think, is not very exciting. But I really feel like this pretty sky blue silky lampshade has ever so slightly transformed the look of my bedroom. Before this I had a plain cream coloured one which looked a bit out of place. But this one with the laser cut floral pattern looks just perfect!

Cushions! If you’ve never ventured into Dunelm you really should, even if it’s just to browse their enormous range of adorable cushions! I found about 10 amazing cushions that I liked the look of, but I am now the proud owner of thiscute floral cat print cushion! I love cats, I love floral, I love cushions.. perfect! Both cupcake cushions are from Dunelm too (last seasons).

I’m sure most girls tend to find that their cosmetics accumulate and begin to overflow out of their make up bag. I realised that I had about 3 bottles of half used foundations, various moisturisers, and a few lipsticks just sitting untidily on my desk. So to solve this issue, this wooden beauty box is perfect! I can now just throw my less-liked products into this box to tidy them away, whilst still looking pretty!

One of the new ranges at Dunelm is called the Candy Rose Collection, which is a range of products with a gorgeous pastel pink and blue rose print. I picked these three dining products; a matching bowel, side plate, and dinner plate. I love eating from pretty crockery, and this has to be the prettiest set I own!

From the same range is this cute little floral jug, which is perfect for filling with flowers. 

This floral seat cushion caught my eye immediately as I thought it would be perfect for my desk chair. It matches really nicely with the floral napkins I glued onto the back of the chair, which sounds like a bit of a rubbish DIY but I like it! I love the colours of the cushion and the delicate crochet edging.
