What Makes Me Smile: Flowers ♥

I love flowers, and lately I seem to have had quite a few fresh bouquets for one reason or another. I think they look lovely in little jugs or pitchers rather than vases (I don’t think I even own a vase!) and they are always sure to bring a smile to my face. It’s always nice to have flowers around the house, I especially love having some next to my bed to brighten my mornings when I wake up! Recently, just as one lot of roses withered, I had a lovely delivery from Debenhams Flowers. They sent me a beautiful bouquet from their Thank You Flowers range.
They were brilliantly packaged inside a protective box and wrapped with cellophane, and beautifully arranged and hand-tied together. My bouquet is called Celebration and consisted of a stunning mix of pink germini, green carnations, white bouvardias, lisianthus, pink roses, and also ivory avalanche roses. The bouquet was finished off with some green foliage in the form of a few eucalyptus stems. The flowers also came with a little added extra; a mini box of Guylian Seashells! These are my absolute favourite chocolate so I was very happy with these! I think they’d make a lovely surprise delivery for somebody, and sure to bring a smile to their face.
I also just wanted to say a
little thank you to everyone that’s been following my little blog over
the last few years. It means a lot to me, even when I think no one is
reading my blog, a single comment or tweet always cheers me up. Blogging
seems easy peasy when you think about it, but sometimes it can be
overwhelming and I know a lot of people put pressure on themselves to
post regularly and to buy all the newest products etc. But overall,
blogging is fun, creative, and has an amazing community, as well as
making an interesting talking point for your CV! So
thank you to everyone that reads my rambles, and to all the brands who
somehow find me and choose to work with me.
You can use code DFBLOG40 for 40% off a flower delivery of a luxury bouquet (excludes flowers by post).

New code is DFBLOG25 for 25% off.

Well, in the spirit of your post, thanks for writing these for us! I've found your outfit posts in particular very inspirational, since I started reading my dress collection has basically trebled in my attempts to emulate your effortless style.

Also, the flowers are lovely. I prefer putting them in pitchers too, though I do prefer alstroemerias over roses. Guylian are always nice though 😉

They are a really pretty mix of flowers and look just perfect in the jug you've used. And you've got me craving some Guylian chocolates now too!
