Christmas Gift Ideas for Men ♥

Continuing on from my blog post the other day on gift ideas for girls, this blog post is for the men in our lives. I have a bit of a habit of over buying for people, especially Liam, because I just see so many things sometimes that I think he would love! I’ve completed my Christmas shopping finally this weekend, so here’s some more of the gifts I need to wrap up…

 First
of all I’d like to say that originally I was going to give this
Christmas jumpsuit to Liam as a bit of a novelty gift. But once I tried
it on I fell in love with it and have been wearing it pretty much non
stop since. It kept me warm for 3 days straight when I was off work ill,
and whenever it needs washing I want it done as quickly as possible to I
can put it back on again! It’s the warmest thing I own and it’s just
perfect to snuggle up in in this chilly weather.
The
jumpsuit features a hood, a double ended zip, and nice warm hand
pocket. I wasn’t sure on the bright green colour at first but I’ve grown
to love it and I like the fair isle print. It’s from Tipsy Elves who do a hilarious range of novelty Christmas wear, including grumpy cat jumpers and humping reindeer beanie hats. Brilliant!
Me and Liam love to eat various cheeses on our weekends in and so I thought it would be cool for us to have an actual cheese board. This slate one is from Treat Republic and can be personalised or have a little message on it. I had mine printed with ‘I love you more than cheese’ which I thought was sweet! They also do a cute heart shaped board too!
My Dad is 6 foot 5 so he often struggles to find clothes that fit him well. The tops he buys can often look a bit short on him, but this casual zip up hoody is from the Freddy Flintoff range at Jacomo, and comes in long length sizes. It fits him just right and is much more on trend than some of his other attire! I love the festive red wine colour of the hoody too, although it’s also available in navy too.

Smelly gift sets are always a great choice for men of all ages. This set is from Bluebeards Revenge and includes a 100ml eau de toilette bottle and a 150ml shower gel. Both are in bright cobalt blue packaging and they come nicely presented in a gift box. They have a really nice classicly masculine fresh fragrance and smells really refreshing.

For Christmas this year Liam and I have both bought each other a waxed Barbour jacket to wear out on our wendy walks and when we go on trips around the UK. We both love the Barbour brand and so I thought this waxed cotton phone case would make a perfect stocking filler for him to keep his iPhone safe and snug! You can also get branded phone cases personalised for only £4.95 if you buy from Proporta.

This funky t-shirt is from a new independent brand called Blunderpuss. Their designs all feature kitty cats in human clothing and have all been designed and hand printed in the UK. I chose the ‘Philip’ design for Liam, which features a grey cat licking his chops in a smart blue suit and bow tie. The t-shirt is really good quality and it arrived packaged really nicely wrapped up in tissue paper and sealed with a kitty sticker.

I think some men love their shoes just as much as women, and I know Liam really likes smart shoes. He’s wanted a pair of brogues for a while and when I spotted this pair from F&F Clothing I thought they’d be perfect for him. They’re made from real leather but have a slightly distressed look to them, which I think makes them great for smart casual wear. And such a great price too!

The womens Jimmy Choo fragrance is one of my all time favourites, so I was really pleased to hear they had also released a mens fragrance earlier this year too. I received a freebie mini sample a while ago and it is such a nice masculine fragrance I thought it would be nice to get Liam for Christmas. Jimmy Choo Man reminds me of Bleu de Chanel (which is my all time favourite mens scent), although it’s not yet available in a box set or any other products.

This port and cheese selection is the perfect accompaniment to go with the slate cheese board I mentioned earlier. It includes apple, raisin and walnut chutney, blue Stilton, blackberry and apple cheese, Worcestershire gold cheddar, a box of Moroccan spice crackers, and a large bottle of Taylors port.  What gentleman doesn’t need cheese and port in their life? Perfect as a Boxing Day treat.

I bought this acrylic photo print for Liam and also one for my desk at work. I wasn’t really sure what  to expect being made from acrylic, but they’re perfect as they’re very hard wearing and the print is still excellent quality. The 6×4″ print comes with a desk stand so it can stand up, whereas the larger prints can be hung up on a wall.
Me and Liam have a few weekends away planned for when he’s back in the UK, and as it will be January/February and he will be used to the hot Kenyan weather, he will no doubt freeze when he gets home! I bought him this crew top from Rohan which will be perfect for keeping him snug and warm in the winter; especially as he never wears a coat! I love the colour of this, which is described as Atlantic green marl. The top looks like knitwear from the outside but it also has a brushed inside to keep him extra warm.
I bought Liam his first pair of slippers a few years ago and he still loves them! As you can imagine though they’re quite worn out now, so I’ve bought him a new pair. I loved the pattern on these fair isle knitted slippers which I bought from Home Bargains for only £3.99. To find out the best slippers for men, visit this page.

And finally, I bought these Calvin Klein 365 boxer shorts in various colours as a little extra stocking filler for Liam. They’re actually from Ali Express so not actually CK, but they certainly look the part! I’ve bought him these in the past and they’re actually very good quality despite not being the real deal.

Great selection! Sometimes it's nice seeing what other girls think of gift-wise for their partner to get some inspiration! Boxers are always a sure bet – got mine some Levis haha 😛
