For Mothers Day a couple of weekends ago I went on a little day trip with my parents to Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. I had visited the town briefly earlier this year, but as it was pouring down with rain I didn’t get to have a good look around, so I was looking forward to another trip. It’s an adorable little spa town that has plenty to see and do, and we found lots of cute little shops, restaurants and cafes…

Last week bloggy pal Terri kindly invited me along to Bluestone in Wales with her and her boyfriend.  Liam came too and we all had a jolly little holiday together and stayed at one of the two bedroomed lodges in the cosy Bluestone resort. Liam came back from his first Army deployment on New Years Eve and I excitedly drove down to Gatwick airport to pick him up in preparation for our week ahead. We spent New Years Eve celebrating in Milton Keynes city centre and had a lovely steak dinner at Cafe Rouge and then went out to a few bars. The next day we drove to a little village called Charlecote near to Stratford Upon Avon, as we had booked a short break…
