I’m not a huge beauty blogger as I prefer to write about fashion and lifestyle generally, but I do love trying out new beauty products now and again. I quite often buy new beauty bits and then plan to blog about them but then rarely do, mostly because I hate posting close up photos and also I’m no beauty expert. I’m not a make up artist and I probably apply everything the wrong way, and I stick to the same look day after day. I’m not very experimental and not really brave enough to try out of of the amazing…

Vaseline has been a staple of womens make up bags and keeping lips protected and healthy for over 140 years now. And now their iconic tin design has had a retro make over! The new Vaseline goes Vintage collection is now more glamorous than ever, and includes the four favourites; original, aloe, cocoa butter, and rosy. The cult Classic tin is always there to help heal and repair dry and chapped lips, to keep them hydrated and smooth. The green aloe vera tin contains cucumber extract and pro vitamins to keep your lips fresh and moisturised. I’m not often one for glamming up in skimpy clothing and fake tan, but I’m certainly not against it. I don’t go out on the town very often, but I do love to get dressed up and try out new beauty products every once in a while. This outfit is perfect for a night out; I love the colours and the pattern of this floral coord from Karma Clothing. I’m usually one for buying cheap beauty products from high street stores, but every so often I like to splurge on a higher end product. Last year I received a free mini mascara sample from Chanel which I had been saving up to use for a ‘special occasion’. I started using it a couple of months ago and I fell in love with it! I’ve always struggled to find a mascara that holds a curl in my lashes whilst also lengthening and thickening. But ever since using the Chanel Le Volume De Chanel Mascara, I’m not sure I will be buying…

Back in May I was super-duper lucky enough to win an amazing competition on Facebook! It was a £1,000 beauty bag to celebrate 1 million Marie Claire Facebook fans. To win you just had to leave a comment using the hashtag #OneInAMillion, tagging your one in a million friend in the comment. My buddy Emma tagged me first, and then I tagged her back, and then I won! So obviously I shared the prize with Emma, and luckily there was lots of stuff to divide up! A massive box arrived filled with loads of goodies from various brands including Estee…
