If you’re local to Milton Keynes, then it’s very likely that you’ve visited Moza in Newport Pagnell at some point over the years. The popular restaurant was located in a small, slightly old fashioned premises on the high street – it wasn’t the most glamorous place for dinner but it was always busy! Moza Newport Pagnell has now recently reopened in a much grander building that used to be the HSBC bank just across the road, and the place has been given a full renovation and refurbishment. Moza Newport Pagnell The new restaurant is very tastefully decorated and it oozes…

I love tapas so I was thrilled when we were invited to visit the Revolucion De Cuba cocktail bar and restaurant in Milton Keynes to try their menu. Revolucion De Cuba serve Latin-inspired food, tapas, and cocktails plus they do live music in the evenings and it stays open til late. It is located on 12th Street (formerly the Theatre District) which is where you’ll find a variety of other bars and restaurants too – but Revolucion De Cuba is the only authentic Cuban place! Revolucion De Cuba Milton Keynes Review Revolucion De Cuba is a big place with a…

Last month I was very kindly invited to stay at the Solent Hotel; a premier four star hotel with spa facilities in Fareham, Hampshire. We decided to stay over my birthday weekend which made it a lovely little treat and we had the best couple of days! With all the hassle of moving house and dealing with solicitors etc I felt like I needed a nice relaxing break so this was very much needed. Solent Hotel is located in Fareham which is between Portsmouth and Southampton, so it’s right by the sea! On our drive down to the hotel we…

The Wavendon Arms pub has recently reopened after an extensive refurbishment with a brand new menu and glamorous look! The Wavendon Arms is located just on the outskirts of Milton Keynes in the small village of Wavendon, which luckily is only five minutes away from me! I was invited to their press night to check out the stunning new stylish interior and to give their fancy new menu a try. The Wavendon Arms has reopened as a premium gastropub, bar, and restaurant with an airy, beamed dining space and an upscale British and Mediterranean menu. It’s the perfect place to…

I was recently invited to eat, drink and get cosy at The Five Bells country pub in Weston Turville near Aylesbury. We took a drive down there on a rather wet and glum Sunday afternoon and were instantly welcomed into this cute typically English village pub. The Five Bells has recently undergone a big refurbishment with a whole new look and updated menu so we were looking forward to seeing what they had to offer. The Five Bells was built in 1854 and oozes rural charm and rustic character. There are lots of exposed bricks, fireplaces, wooden beams, and antlers…

Last month we spent the weekend in the quaint little market town of Woodstock in Oxfordshire. We were invited to stay at The Feathers Hotel which is a 17th century town house which has been turned into a charming boutique hotel. Woodstock is located about 20 minutes north of Oxford city centre and on the edge of The Cotswolds, so it’s the perfect place to stay if you’d like a weekend away with plenty of pretty villages nearby. The historic town of Woodstock is also home to Blenheim Palace which is a short walk down the road from The Feathers…
