As a lover of all things antique and pretty, I like collecting big old iron keys. There’s just something so mysterious and a little bit ‘Alice in Wonderland’ about them, and I remember as a little girl I used to love collecting keys as I thought they were really important! Now I’m a grown up.. I still like collecting them, and I use them to add decorative features to my bedroom.
I simply tie pieces of colourful ribbon through the keys, and then tie them into a bow. I got these keys from antique shops for about £2 each. I think they look so cute and vintage hanging up around my room. I keep them hanging from my birdcage currently. Such a simple little DIY decoration.
