Good evening everyone! I’ve had the longest weekend ever. I’ve spent three days baking and decorating cakes for the cake sale today, and although it went well I can’t help but feel it wasn’t really worthwhile. Anyway, I will post about that another time! Today I want to show you some more beautiful interior items that I was really kindly sent by
Not On the High Street.
If you’ve never stumbled across them before, Not On the High Street are an online marketplace for small creative businesses who are not on the high street. There are over 3000 UK businesses selling via the website, with over 50,000 products. All with quality, innovation and style, gifts can also often be personalised. It’s easy to find what you’re looking for, and shopping is simple and fun, and there’s someone to talk to if you need help or inspiration. I spend ages (literally hours) browsing through the amazingly inspirational website and found so many gorgeous creative gifts. I selected these three items: Ceramic Bird Ring Dish, Shabby Chic Floral Bunting, and Glass Cupcake Dome.

This adorable little
bird ornament is a ring/jewellery dish made of ceramic. It’s perfect to hold onto my little jewellery nik-naks as well as hair pins (forever losing them!). It was sold by
lisa angel homeware and gifts for £15, which included free UK delivery. I love the little bird feature; I have a few white birds handing around my room as well as a bird cage so I think this fits in nicely on my dressing table.

I’ve wanted some good quality ‘proper’ bunting for a while now, so I knew when I saw this
shabby chic floral bunting on the website I wanted it. It’s made and sold by
Zigzag Bunting for £17.50, and is made from cotton fabric in gorgeous dusky shades of pink, blue and fresh white. It is 4.5 metres in length with 15 flags and trimmed with pink floral ties. This double sided decorative bunting would be perfect for bringing a pretty country feel to any room, party, or wedding (I would love a English Garden style wedding!). I took these nice photos of it strung up in my garden in the sunshine, I think I might also use it as decoration at one of my cake sales!

And finally, the product I was most excited about receiving, was this
glass cupcake dome by
Henry’s Future. I’ve been browsing for pretty glass cupcake stands for a single cupcake to show off this masterpiece that I made at Carina’s Cupcakes cake class. It was to pretty to eat so I’ve been saving it. I wanted somewhere to keep it safe, and thought this would be perfect! These beautiful individual cupcake stands available in three heights, and this is the medium one which sells for £13. I love the pretty pleated cloche and fluted stem. These stands will make a glamorous addition to any tea party, and are perfect for displaying cupcakes and other delicious sweet treats at weddings etc.
If you’re after a great, thoughtful gift, then check out
Not On the High Street. Also have a browse if you’re after some creative inspiration! The sellers on there are really talented at making such beautiful gifts, and some can be personalised for an extra special touch.
