Valentines Day Gift Ideas 2015

February has come around so quickly, which means it’s almost Valentines Day! I haven’t made any special plans for the day yet, but the week after me and Liam have planned to spend the weekend in London. Presents for Valentines Day don’t have to be big and fancy, it’s the thought that counts, and it’s nice to have gifts that you can share between you and enjoy together. So here are some of my favourite Valentines gift ideas…
Flower delivery is probably the most traditional gift idea for Valentines Day. You can’t really beat the romantic gesture of a surprise delivery of beautiful roses. These stunning Valentines flowers were sent to me from Appleyard London.
This is the Goddess bouquet and it includes white freesia, soft pink sweet avalanche roses, velvet red grandprix roses and pink eustoma. Their Valentines range starts from only £39.99, and you can get 40% off Appleyards range of luxury bouquets (exclude flowers by post range) using the discount code BLOG40
Chocolates are also a classic Valentines winner, these Guylian seashells were actually from Poundland (but shh.. no need to tell the recipient that!).

Personalised gifts are definitely my favourite kind. I love the thought that goes into them which makes them feel extra special. This slate heart shaped hanging decoration is the perfect token of love, which can be personalised with names and then hung up at home. It comes with a sweet little red gingham ribbon and is crafted from natural slate, which makes each one unique. I also really love this heart shaped slate memo board from Not A Box gift boutique, which you can use to jot down cute little messages.

If your other half is a chocolate lover (like me!) then you can’t really beat this. A chocolate pizza! There are 7 different flavours of pizza, and this one I received to try is Crunchy Munchy. It’s a base of
Belgian milk chocolate, covered with vanilla fudge pieces, chunks of chocolate
brownie cookie, and then finished with chocolate curls.
It comes nicely packaged in its own cardboard pizza delivery box, and it can also be personalised with a white chocolate coin in the centre. The chocolate actually tastes really high quality and delicious, and it comes sliced up so it’s ready to eat!

Candles are perfect for creating a romantic atmosphere at home. This kukui oil candle is infused with Hawaiian flowers Gardenia and Jasmine, which gives off an exotic, sensual fragrance. It comes in a flower printed glass holder, and it’s beautifully presented in a branded gift box.

You can also add the romance of Paris to your home with something like this pretty throw from the French Bedroom Company. It’s amazingly snug and soft and would be perfect for a cosy night in on the sofa. I love the dusky mink colour, and the dense luxurious fabric has a wonderfully soft texture. And it’s big enough to wrap up two together!
