It’s only one week until Mothers Day (15th March), so if you’re still loo king for pressies for your Mum, I’ve compiled a few gift ideas. All Mums deserve something special now and again, and Mothers Day is the perfect time to show your Mum just how much she means to you. It doesn’t have to be anything expensive; I love the idea of homemade gifts, baked treats, or a special meal. You could throw a little tea party or picnic with sandwiches and cakes and invite all the family over!
This little shabby chic heart decoration is a lovely little token gift. Of course, everyones Mum is the ‘best Mum’, but it’s sure to make her feel special and it can be hung up anywhere.
Mothers Day flowers are always a winner with Mums worldwide. This beautiful bouquet from Appleyard Flowers is called Liberty and includes oriental lilies, lilac roses, purple eustoma and blue veronica. They can also arrange flower delivery, which is ideal if you’re not able to see your Mum this Mothers Day but still want to send her something special.
I took the first two photos soon after receiving the bouquet, but then I took the lily photo a week later once they had opened up, and the whole lot are still looking fresh! You can get 40% off bouquets using code BLOG40 (excludes the flowers by post range).
Yves Rocher is a beauty brand that has some great fragrances, and this perfume would make a lovely gift for Mothers Day. Quelques Notes d’Amour has notes of fresh roses and is currently only £17 for a 30ml eau de parfum spray.
This pretty scarf and bracelet combo is from Accessories Boutique, an online store for beautiful vintage style jewellery and accessories. I love their range of pretty patterned soft scarves (I picked a daisy printed one), which are perfect for this spring time weather. This cream glass pearl bead bracelet features a sparkling clear crystal flower pendant, as well as a sparkly clasp and heart charm. You can get free UK delivery and 10% off using code Coupon10 at checkout.
A special card is important for any special occasions. I love it when I receive a card that I can tell has had thought put into choosing it. Although nothing beats a card made personally, you can buy some stunning hand made cards.
These ones are from Made With Love Designs and I love the pretty floral pattern background on the scrabble tiles card. The sparkly cluster embellishment is so pretty on the blue card, and you can pick the background colour from a range of pastel shades.
The design on this compact mirror is the most adorable thing ever! I want it made into a cute cross stitch or print for my wall. I think this would make a lovely little gift for Mothers Day, and is only £6.75.
My Mum has been looking for some new coasters for a while, but all the ones she finds are either too boring, or are made from glass/slate/ceramic which are too fragile. I think she is going to love these wooden heart shaped coasters, which have a little hole in the centre of each so they can go on top of the rod to keep the set together.
The natural wood has been sanded thoroughly so that they are really smooth and I love the rustic look of them. I also think she will love this mug, as she adores elephants! I think this elephant has the cutest little face, and I like the colourful flower pattern and pink handle.
The little purple owl in the middle (Penny) has made many appearances on my blog, and it always gets lots of positive comments and people asking where it’s from! These adorable patchwork owl cushions are from Sass and Belle and they come in a few different colours and fabric prints. The red one is my Christmas owl (Evangeline), and the most recent addition to the owl family is Josephine. I think these would make a lovely gift for Mums everywhere (or anyone, for any occasion!).
Finally, if your Mum always says she has cold feet like mine does, these Morland sheepskin slippers would make the perfect gift. They are lined with the finest sheepskin and feature a collar for extra warmth and indulgence and a rubber sole to ensure durability.
