Sorry it’s been two weeks since my last blog post and I’ve been a little bit quiet; life has taken quite a turn lately and I’ve been struggling to get motivated if I’m honest. However, I am now trying to end my invite only pity party so I’m pushing through with my latest blog post!
BHS may not be the first place you think of to buy stylish homewares, but they do have a very impressive range of house goodies and they’ve recently collaborated with (my fav) Holly Willoughby on a vintage chic range. They have some really pretty pieces and I was kindly sent a few bits to try out, which have now all settled nicely in my dressing room.
I love this wooden jewellery cabinet as I haven’t got a jewellery box currently, so this is ideal for storing my favourite pieces. It’s styled like a miniature white wooden wardrobe with a pretty bird print background which matches the table it sits on perfectly! The doors open out and on the inside is a shelf, and it also has the handy addition of a little pull out drawer too. It is quite large so takes up a bit of space, but I think I can probably keep all sorts in it! And it’s ever so pretty.
I thought this glass floral print photo frame fitted in with the theme perfectly too, and I love the cute bird and butterfly pattern in the background. It’s only £6 which is great value, and I think it would make a lovely little gift!
The glass jar candle is from the Holly Willoughby range and it is fragranced with sandalwood, patchouli and jasmine. I love the soothing scent and the glass jar holder is so sweet; I love the style of the lid.
And finally, I couldn’t resist picking this adorable teacup pattern cushion! I definitely already have enough mismatched cushions but this one is my new favourite. It has pretty embroidery detail and I love the bold colours, and the fact it has a bird and a teacup on the front! It now proudly lives on my dressing room chair where I think it looks perfect!
