As I mentioned previously, it was my birthday on Thursday, but unfortunately I was struck with my first ever bout of tonsillitis! As I’d never had it before I did fear that I was dying a little bit after Googling my symptoms (do not do this), but I’m feeling a little better now. It was over three months ago now (my blogging break lasted longer than I expected!) that I visited this fabulous tea room in Stratford Upon Avon. For Mothers Day a couple of weekends ago I went on a little day trip with my parents to Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. I had visited the town briefly earlier this year, but as it was pouring down with rain I didn’t get to have a good look around, so I was looking forward to another trip. Last weekend I held a little tea party for my family at home in our dining room. My Mum and I spent the day before preparing some food and bits for the table, including scones, lemon drizzle cake, jelly, Easter shaped chocolates, chocolate nest cakes, and plenty of sandwiches!
