It’s almost party season (can you believe it’s almost the end of November?!) and Matalan have released a gorgeous range of party dresses, perfect for Christmas parties. I received a very stylish dress from their very on-trend Be Beau range.
The Be Beau Embroidered Neckline Dress has a stunning embellished collar neckline and a floral patterned sequinned bodice. This dress is so Christmas-sy! I love the gorgeous bold midnight blue colour which I think looks very festive. The dress also has a satin feel racer back, and a fine tutu style skirt. It’s a great length too, short and flirty but not too mini. The shape of the dress is gorgeous too and really flattering. The skirt starts from quite high up the waist so the skirt gently flows over any lumps and bumps. The high neckline is also very flattering, and the detailing is beautiful. It zips up all the way up the back, and it’s really comfortable to wear.. perfect for partying all night long! I can’t wait to wear it for a Christmas night out!
The dress retails for only £30 at Matalan, and they have plenty more stylish party dresses and accessories too!
These shoes are actually 4 years old, but bargain of my life! I bought them from Priceless Shoes (not sure they still exist?!) in my first year of uni for £10! They look lovely with this dress!
To accessorise this stunning dress, I’d team it with some really simple jewellery; a matching bracelet and stud earrings. The neckline detail does all the talking here, so don’t want to go OTT. However, Matalan also sell some gorgeous glitter wedges (reduced! and comfy for dancing!) and a matching clutch bag which is only £4! I’m going out to hunt this down tomorrow! I’d also wear it with either a gorgeous matching sequinned bolero (you can never have too much sparkle!) or a smarter black fitted blazer. I’d also definitely wear a glitter nail polish too, to finish off the look, and probably some false eyelashes too!
