Sequin Collared Jumper & Velvet Skirt OOTD from SheInside ♥

This outfit isn’t one of my most imaginative, as it’s very similar to another one I showed you recently! In fact, Peter Pan collars and velvet skirts seem to be all I wear these days! I should really branch out more. None the less, I still like this outfit, both of the pieces are from my much loved SheInside.

I actually wore this outfit on Christmas Eve Eve, hence the cute little gingerbread man ring! It cost me 50p from Matalan and I couldn’t resist it! It matched my Essie Leading Lady red glitter manicure too. I was so pleased with my most recent package from SheInside! It included my lovely black skater dress that I wore on Christmas Eve, as well as this jumper and skirt. They are all such excellent quality and I’m so pleased with them! I wore this outfit out for lunch with my best friend, we went to Pizza Hut and exchanged Christmas presents!

The jumper is actually surprisingly thick, and it’s quite a heavy, warm knit. Which is nice because I was expecting it to be more of a thin sweater than a thick knit. It’s a lovely cream colour with a pretty little collar decorated in gold sequins. It’s on sale at the moment for only £18 with free worldwide shipping! The knit has vertical ribbing which helps it keep it’s shape, and although the jumper is one size only, it fits like a dream.

I always double check the exact measurements on Asian websites as the bust size and length especially can vary. Something may say size Large but really it’s a UK 8-10. But if you check the measurements then I’ve always found them to be true and everything has fit me!

This velvet skirt is the final addition to my velvet clothing collection, I just cannot buy anymore. If it’s never in fashion again then I’m in trouble because I have so much of it! This skirt was also one size only, but after I took the elastic out of the waistband, it fits me well. It’s quite short though, but not inappropriately so. This was £16, but appears to now be sold out!

Have you tried Asian fashion yet?

  2. Your gingerbread ring was from Matalan? Omggg.. But I was there and I never saw it! o__o Ahhh! Well that was a good bargain anyway, and I'm glad you found it because it looks good on you 🙂 especially with that top.
    (Which I also love.)

You seem to be very good at colour co-oardinating and knowing what looks good on you and stuff, a lot of fashion bloggers don't. That gives me confidence that your blog is actually going to be worth watching and following on a regular basis xxx n.n I like it already lol.
