The menu features all the Thai classics, from fragrant curries and Pad Thai to sizzling stir-fries and fresh seafood dishes, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options available too. Every dish is packed with flavour and made using traditional recipes, creating an authentic dining experience that keeps people coming back time and time again.

17. The Carrington Arms, Moulsoe – Countryside Dining

This traditional countryside English inn combines a cosy setting with a modern British menu, making it perfect for everything from relaxed lunches to special dinners. It’s also just a couple of miles from Junction 14 of the M1, so it’s surprisingly easy to get to.

The restaurant is particularly well known for its steak counter, serving locally raised Bedfordshire beef cooked over a charcoal grill. There’s also an à la carte menu featuring modern takes on classic British dishes, alongside lighter options, homemade burgers and traditional pub favourites. The seasonal menus make use of fresh ingredients and, where possible, produce from local suppliers and their own garden.

It’s a great option if you fancy somewhere with a more relaxed countryside feel, whether you’re planning a Sunday lunch, dinner with friends, or a special occasion. There’s a large garden and patio too, making it especially appealing in the warmer months, while the Garden Room offers a more casual, dog-friendly space for food and drinks.
