Sometimes when you’re feeling a little bit down, or the dread of winter leaves you feeling blue, you need a little pick me up. There are loads of little things that cheer me up instantly; a new lipstick, a cuddle with my cat, a catch up with a girlfriend, and I think it’s important to make the most of these little things. Lingerie One of the big things that makes me a little bit chirpier in the mornings is the feeling of wearing something new. Whether it be a new dress or a new pair of shoes, wearing something fresh…

Generally I’m not one of those people with a strict skincare routine. I am one of those people that removes my make up with face wipes and then uses moisturiser as a ‘treat’ for my face.. but I do love a good moisturiser! Aromatherapy Associates offer natural luxury spa and skincare from Aromatherapy Associates; including candles, gift sets, and hair care products. I really like the packaging of the AA products; it’s so simple and luxurious. Orange Flower Moisturiser I was extremely excited to try this moisturiser from Aromatherapy Associates, as I rarely get the chance to try out high-end skincare…

Don’t forget Mothers Day this year.. it’s on the 30th March! I’ll be on holiday on the day, so I’ve prepared my Mums gifts early for her to open whilst I’m away. I’m also thinking about making her a little girlie at home afternoon tea party with my sister and my little niece this weekend. Cutting up little finger sandwiches, baking some scones and cakes, and getting out all of the pretty china I insist on collecting! I’ve also got her vouchers for her favourite restaurant as a gift, as well as a few extra goodies, so here’s a few…

So here’s the second half of my product favourites from 2012 post. This one is more focusing on hair, body, and skincare products, rather than cosmetics. I discovered some new amazing products in 2012, but I also still stuck to a few firm favourites from the years before. But here are my favourites and most used products from the whole year. I just wanted to write a brief post about this book Skin Secrets by Liz Earle. I got it a while ago but I’ve only just recently had a look at it as I’m not really one for books! I didn’t read a single book throughout university. That’s how much I dislike reading. Anyway I quite like this book as its really simply laid out and its nicely sectioned and organised and the information is actually really interesting and helpful. Liz Earle Skin Secrets She describes which botanical ingredients are best for young skin, which plant oils are the most…

You probably aren’t really aware of my Soap and Glory obsession, as I rarely post about it! I actually love their products, however I take my time using them up, hence why I don’t often reviews them. This is my collection that I have gained over the years, and almost all of them are still full! I kind of feel like I should save them for a ‘special occasion’ that never comes, and I just like to collect them rather than use them! That’s not to say I don’t love using Soap and Glory.. their products are so good! I…
