My new Christmas product this year was these chocolate houses. I made the using a really fab mould from Lakeland. They were quite easy to make, although they take a while to put together, but I enjoyed decorating them all by hand. I sold these for £20 each and had quite a few orders for these, so they kept me very busy! I made them using a choice of chocolate, milk, dark, or white. I also personalised a couple of them by icing the kids names onto the roofs. The recipents of the houses were all very happy, I even reduced one lady to tears as she was a bit overwhelmed (it was a surprise delivery from her daughter in New Zealand).
I also did my usual cupcakes in vanilla and chocolate. I used my new cutters which meant I could make cute little reindeer! And a proper Christmas tree cutter, which I decorated with sprinkles to look like baubles. I had also ordered a little gingerbread cutter off eBay but it didn’t arrive in time.. boo hoo! I love the snowflake cutter best of all I think 🙂 I haven’t eaten a chocolate house nor a single cupcake myself. I’m so very self controlled lately! I must confess to a lick of the chocolate spoon leftovers though. I also made a chocolate cake in the shape of a domed Christmas pudding using left over chocolate mix!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Boxing Day.

The chocolate houses are amazing! I would love to have one of those, but I think I would find it too pretty to be able to eat it! But I would eat those cupcakes all day. They look absolutely delicious!
